Cookie and analytics notice draft

Cookies and analytics.

The launch version should stay privacy-light. Prefer Cloudflare Web Analytics first and avoid invasive tracking, heatmaps, or session replay.

1. Essential storage

The app may use local browser storage to autosave unfinished screener answers on your device. This helps you refresh or return without losing work. Local drafts remain in your browser unless you clear them or submit/pay for an export.

2. Payment and security cookies

Stripe and Cloudflare may use cookies or similar technologies for payment, fraud prevention, bot protection, load balancing, and security. These are generally necessary for the service to work safely.

3. Analytics

If enabled, Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page views, referrers, device/browser category, country-level traffic, and performance information without placing tracking cookies. It should be enough for launch analytics.

4. No session replay at launch

Do not add session replay, keystroke capture, or heatmap tools for these products without explicit consent and careful masking. Users may enter sensitive property, compliance, water, waste, ecology, animal-care, salon-safety, equipment, event, food-allergen, fire-door, or water-control context.

5. Managing storage

You can clear local drafts by clearing site data in your browser. If you need a visible “clear draft” button, add it to the product screener before public launch.

6. Updates

If analytics, ads, affiliate tracking, or remarketing are added later, this page and the privacy policy should be updated before those tools go live. A consent banner may become necessary depending on the technology used.
