Terms of service draftTerms of service.
These terms govern your use of Got Proof and its compliance tools. Replace placeholder details with your legal entity information before launch.
1. Service
Got Proof provides digital compliance tools including evidence pack generators, logbooks, and screeners for UK-regulated activities. Access is provided via a web browser. Tools are provided as-is for documentation assistance and do not constitute legal, regulatory, or professional advice.
2. Account and access
Certain tools require payment before an evidence pack or logbook can be exported. Access links are issued after successful payment. Treat your access link as a password — do not share it publicly. We are not liable for unauthorised access resulting from you sharing your link.
3. Payment
Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Payments are processed by Stripe. Annual subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. One-time purchases grant permanent access to the purchased pack version at the time of payment.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel a subscription at any time via the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds for unused subscription periods or one-time purchases are at our discretion. Contact support to discuss your situation.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use Got Proof tools to produce fraudulent documentation, misrepresent compliance status, or for any unlawful purpose. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter. We may suspend access if we suspect misuse.
6. Intellectual property
The content, templates, and structure of Got Proof tools are our intellectual property. The data and text you enter remains yours. Exported packs are yours to use for the compliance purpose for which they were generated.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of Got Proof tools or reliance on generated documentation. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding any claim.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after notice of changes constitutes acceptance. We will make reasonable efforts to notify active subscribers of material changes.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
